This Bot hides your camera and then shows it to users who type a password!

I like to use this to encourage people to log in or create a free account.

Type /ph to send a warning notice. Type /phide to hide cam. Type /show to unhide.

2/3 UPDATE: For more followers! You can now automatically show camera to new followers, as well as send a custom private notice when people follow (to tell them the "followers password" for example)! If you want, you can hide the password completely and force people to follow you to see - they are removed from the access list if they unfollow... however, people who followed you yesterday will have to unfollow and refollow in order to gain access :( I will soon add some default settings to the bottom of this description that you can copy-paste.

INFORMATION:

Typing /ph just sends a notice - this makes it easy for you to warn people you’ll hide cam!

Typing /phide will hide the camera. Users will see your custom text over the blank video feed.

IMPORTANT: like a ticket show, your room will be removed from the public listing, but your room is still visible in followers listing (people who follow you will still see you in the list of people they follow). FOR VIEWERS ON MOBILE, they may need a flash-enabled browser, like Dolphin, to see. This is the same issue as for ticket shows.

Type /show when you want to be public again and visible on the CB room listings.

Users will need to type your specific word AFTER cam is hidden to be able to see.

The password can be publicly available or a secret word for select users!
(The default settings makes the password very visible, to reward registered users.)

The placeholder %password% mirrors the word you put in the "password" setting.

Users will get a confirmation notice when they type the correct password. This confirmation is also sent to you, so you can know who joined!

Users who enter the room while the camera is hidden will get a notice upon entry. (The placeholder %hiddenTime% will show how long the camera has been hidden.)

HEADS UP: users who haven’t typed the password will NOT be able to chat.

Occasionally, people can’t see and tipnote me to ask what they should do - I’ve made a setting to show cam automatically to people who tip X+, and I usually set this to 1 token. You can also set this to a higher number, or 0, to disable the feature.
