Short Description:

Guess the secret number with Higher or Lower hints

Full Description

Users guess the secret "lucky" number by tipping, will give back hints if Higher or Lower than the secret number until found. Multi-Goal setup, so when number is hit, a small "minor" prize is given with "major" prizes along the way, until a final "grand" prize at the last goal. There also is an auto-win feature where if a user tips over the specified amount they automatically win the current goal (defaulted to 1000).

Setup

Couple quick notes on what everything is.

• "Number of goals" is the total number of goals or "rounds" that the game plays through. Minimum is 5, recommended is 20-25. Will give minor prizes at reach goal, with major prizes given in order spread evenly throughout.
• "Numbers On Board" is the high end of the range for the secret number. So if set to 75 for example, the range of numbers to guess would be 1-75.
• "Notification Delay In Minutes" is the time between the "Notice" that explains the game. Default is 4 minutes. You can also show this notice using the "/shownotice" command below.
• "Number of Minor Prizes" is the number of minor prizes to use. These will be given randomly when a minor prize is won. You must specify at least 1, with a max of 15. Then fill out the prizes in the following fields. If you specify that you want to use more minor prizes than you fill out, the app will not let you start it.
• "Number of Major Prizes" is same as the minor prizes above. Specify the amount you want to use, max of 5. These will be awarded in order, spread evenly over the total number of goals, with the last major prize given as the "grand prize".
• "Auto Win Goal At" is the amount where a player can win the current goal automatically with a single tip. This would be substantially higher than the range, so recommended to be set at 500-1000 tokens, depending on your numbers on board setting above.

App Commands

Quick list of commands and what they do.

/p sends prize list, if run by broadcaster or mod will send to all, otherwise just goes to user.

/showrange sends the current range the secret number lies in, if run by broadcaster or mod will send to all, otherwise just goes to user.

/shownotice (broadcaster or mod only) reruns the room notices manually. They still continue periodically as specified in the settings.

/stats (broadcaster only) will send stats of how many tips and tokens made that session, as well as how many per goal

/hurrygoal (broadcaster only, will also work with /skipgoal and /nextgoal) will advance to the next goal manually.

• -1.2.5 on 9-21-15: Fixed an issue where /p command wouldn't list all the minor prizes. Also all commands will work with ! instead of / (example: !p). This is so they should still work when using bots with same commands.

• -1.2.1 on 8-18-15: Fixed /hurrygoal command, had some conflicts that caused the range to not display properly. That issue has been fixed. Also allowed the Auto Win to allow lower numbers (per request). Keep in mind the Auto Win must be set higher than the Numbers on Board or it won't let you start the app, though this change will allow you to set the Auto Win to better match your set-up.


• -1.2.0 on 8-10-15: Major update, removed non-"properly"-working "within" hints. Replaced with range that the number lies in (per request). This is a little more stable, and lets the viewers know what numbers have been excluded by previous tips. With this added new "/showrange" command, as well as tidied up the notices to include the commands available to the viewers. Also balanced out the minor prizes so that it gives them out randomly but equally, so basically you don't get the same minor prize over and over again. Finally cleaned up the code a bit and made a few stability fixes, as well as removed excess code that added to overall filesize.


• -1.1.1 on 8-6-15: Fixed a minor bug that caused not all of the minor prizes to be used, as well as fixed the notices to broadcast the AutoWin tip amount.
