*** Important Update Note – September 4, 2026 ***
I implemented an update/fix today at 04:30 UTC to address a settings issue reported by a broadcaster on September 1, 2026 indicating that some of Alphabot's features' settings (on/off, interval, and color-scheme) were not saving correctly when started via the new App Directory launcher. While the settings architecture has worked reliably for years with the original (v1/legacy) launcher, my investigation revealed that the new launcher was apparently handling certain parts of Alphabot’s settings system differently than the v1/legacy launcher does, and this difference caused some settings values to keep resetting to their internal default values. The fix I implemented has resolved the issue, and all of the previously affected settings now save and are applied when starting Alphabot from the new App Directory's launcher.


In a hurry? Just Start ALPHABOT as-is: the default-settings are great for new-models.

TIP: to avoid duplicative features and potential operational conflicts, DO NOT use other multi-function apps/bots, anti-spam (captcha) apps/bots, or mute/silence grey users apps/bots alongside ALPHABOT.
